On August 3, 2002 he married the love of his life Merry Couch-Blanco, who spent over 40 years by his side. He was the best dad to his 5 children, Tonia Zarate, Monica Guerrero, April Cisneros, Sonya Adame, Cesar Adame. He was blessed with 21 grandchildren, Juan, Kique, Nonyo, Matthew, Angel, Mari, Marcos, Cesar Jr., Alicia, Carlos, Jenessa, Adan, Amanda, Araya, Jayden, Alijah, Johnny, Azriel, Ariel, Stormie, Rain. Besides raising his 5 children, he also raised several grandchildren and was always surrounded by “bonus children” that his kids would bring home & he would take under his wing. Armando and Tyson will always carry the title son to him. He was a huge fan of rock & roll music and attended several concerts. He was a social butterfly and would make friends anywhere & everywhere he went, he never met a stranger and was blessed to have many lifelong friends, Pete, George, Mando, Dave, Rey, Cesar, Tony, and Ozzie (RIP), to name a few. His life revolved around his children and grandchildren and would call or stop by to check on them almost daily. He was very known for his intelligence, there was nothing he didn’t know the answer to and knew several random facts. He was lovingly called “Mr. Nostalgic” by his wife because of how smart he was. A proud graduate of 1981, he had the most beautiful penmanship, that made many jealous. He loved to take country cruises with his wife and would sit in his truck for hours listening to rock & roll or hearing the on-air sports, especially Seahawks and Mariners. He was also a corn hole champ, a title he held proudly. He was very loving and generous and would give anyone the shirt off his back, even if it meant he would go without. He loved to fish, hunt, bbq, but his favorite pastime was time with family. There wasn’t a day in his life that he didn’t go visit, call or spend time with his kids and grandchildren and will deeply be missed by all of them. He left a permanent hole in their hearts. We will love and miss you forever dad. You are right, “YOU ARE THE BEST WE EVER HAD! WOOOOOOO!”
