Barbara Marie Montenegro (Alley), aged 61, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 26, 2024, in Yuma, Arizona. Born September 30, 1962, Barbara graduated from A&M Consolidated High School and furthered her education at Arizona Western College.

Barbara was a vibrant soul known for her bubbly personality and compassionate nature. She was a loving wife to Joe Montenegro, a dedicated mother to Malina Montenegro, married to Jxxn Montenegro, and Brett Shryock, married to Brittany Shryock. She was also a doting grandmother to Oakley and Raelynn Shryock. Her life was a testament to her fighting spirit and commitment to living fully and loving deeply.

She enjoyed playing softball and was an avid reader, which brought much joy and fulfillment to her life. In addition, she enjoyed spending as much time with her friends, family, and godchildren at their functions or events. Lastly, as a team captain, she was very active with Relay for Life. Barbara is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Willie" Alley and Barbara "Billie" Alley (McDaniel), as well as her in-laws, J. Enrique and Virginia Montenegro.
