Beniamino “Benny” Giunta, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at the age of 63, at his home in Mays Landing, New Jersey.

Born on December 27, 1962, in Turin, Italy, Benny came to the United States with his family in 1970 and spent much of his life in Paterson, New Jersey. He was a hardworking, determined, and naturally entrepreneurial man who took great pride in his work, particularly in real estate. Throughout his career, Benny was known for his vision, independence, and ability to see possibilities where others did not. His entrepreneurial spirit and accomplishments were an important part of who he was.

Above all, Benny was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and family member. He will be remembered with love by his devoted mother, Vincenza Giunta; his sister, Adalgisa Gazzillo, and brother-in-law, Vincent Gazzillo; his nieces, Tiffany Tavarez, Jennifer Gazzillo, and Victoria Gazzillo; and his nephew, Vincent Gazzillo. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Ermelinda Giunta-Tavarez.

Benny’s life was one filled with spending time with his mother, hard work, ambition, and perseverance. Those who knew him will remember his strong personality, his independent spirit, and the unique presence he brought into the lives of those around him. 

As per with Benny’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony was held with his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those wishing to honor Benny’s memory consider making a donation to the American Diabetes Association in support of diabetes research and patient care, a cause that was close to his heart.

Benny will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
