Bernice Clark 1942 – 2024 Bernice was one of eleven children born to Clarence and Florence (Shink) Hodder on February 23, 1942, in Blossburg, PA. At the age of 18, Bernice enlisted in the United States Navy and served for two years as a store clerk. After the death of her husband, Terry Lee Holdren, Bernice met Harold L "Roy" Clark, whom she married in 1974. They lived a wonderful life together in Wellsboro, PA. Bernice was well known in the community as the Bookkeeper/Head Cashier at the local grocery store, the Super Duper. Throughout the years, Bernice was known for making Halloween costumes for her and her sister, Elsie. Each year, they would visit family and friends in the area, dressed in character, carrying on and having a good time. You never knew what they were going to be. After retirement, Bernice enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing golf, sewing quilts, and Swedish weaving. Bernice is survived by her husband, Harold "Roy" Clark of 49 years, her daughter, Sheila Holdren, Granddaughter, Brianna Gillmore, Grandson, Casey Henley, and four beautiful great granddaughters, AllieMae, Lilly, Molly, and Riley Gillmore, and brother, Robert "Cubby" Hodder. Bernice will be remembered fondly for her smile, stubbornness, laugh, creativity, and strength.
