Brent Gonzalez 1977 – 2023 Redondo Beach, California Brent Joseph Gonzalez was only 46 years old when he passed away. Brent spent 9 months battling Colon Cancer before it took his life. Brent, otherwise known as Gonzo or Gonz was incredibly hard-working. Everyone who knew him could attest to his dedication to everything in life. Brent was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school growing up and attended Santa Clara University (SCU). His dedication to his faith throughout his life continued until his final days. While at SCU he worked with the Women's Soccer Team as well as Mens Basketball Team where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Brent also worked with the Women's National Soccer Team. Brent moved to Hermosa Beach for a job at the Home Depot Center and made the South Bay his home. He worked mainly in operations for a few different companies until his last job as an account manager/sales. Brent was a wealth of knowledge and he was invaluable to the companies he worked for. Brent met Jaime in 2012 while he was working at the Pike in Long Beach as the Operations Director. Brent and Jaime were engaged on April 26, 2015 and married on May 1, 2016. Brent and Jaime shared the love of traveling and traveled all over the world together and have shared this love of travel with their 3 children. They have traveled throughout Europe, South Africa/Dubai for their Honeymoon, Mexico and New Zealand/Australia. Brent always wanted children, 3 to be exact. On April 1, 2018 Brent welcomed his first daughter, Hannah. Then on April 26, 2021 he welcomed twins, a son and a daughter, Hailey and Hudson. He was an incredible and dedicated father who loved his children with his whole heart. They were his world. Brent had the most infectious smile that would light up any room. His witty and sarcastic sense of humor made him who he was which always made someone laugh. He touched so many lives over his lifetime and has continued to touch lives since he passed away. Brent had a heart of gold and everyone loved him.
