Caiden Loose-Ives 2010 – 2025 Council Bluffs, Iowa Caiden was the youngest of 9 children. He was the anchor of our family. He was our heart. Always ending each night with "I love you goodnight, I will see you in the morning". A survivor of 3 open heart surgeries and a severe stroke. Caiden had an enormous impact on anyone he came in contact with. He had a huge heart, loved big and has left a legacy of love with all who knew him. A kind, caring, funny, determined and compassionate Warrior, he was a great friend to many. An outdoorsman who enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing and received his Iowa Master Angler Award in 2021. A collector of knives, bottlecaps and golf balls who never let his disabilities disable him. As the 2019 Children's Miracle Network Champion, Caiden participated in multiple fundraisers for Children's Nebraska via TV/Radio Segments as "Team Caid". An avid golfer, he was excited to be able to witness the 2025 Drive Chip Putt National Finals at the Masters Golf Tournament. He was a participant of the Iowa Special Olympics earning 17 medals. A huge Husker fan, he was a guest at the 2019 Heroes Game. His leadership role led him to participate in the Southwest Iowa Leadership Academy in 2023. He loved online gaming, board games and a card game of any kind. An active member of Saint John Lutheran Church he was Baptized, received his First Communion and was Confirmed, always standing strong in his faith. A true-blue Titan, Caiden was part of the Lewis Central High School Bowling and Chess Teams. He excelled in academics and would have been part of the Graduation Class of 2028. Our sweet Prince, "Caidy Boy" will be forever missed.
