Connie Bonadio Flynn 1950 – 2025 Born Lula Consenta Bonadio, known as "Connie", was pure Dayton—through and through…born and raised. Proud Graduate of St. Joseph Commercial High School, class of 1969. She was a friend to all and enemy to none. Connie lived a life full of personality, persistence and punchlines. She was known for a kind heart, colorful commentary, and infectious laughter. She held numerous jobs throughout her life, most proudly serving as a Deputy Clerk of Courts for Montgomery County, Ohio. It was a role that fueled her passion and desire to serve her community. She loved debating with anyone who would listen — and even more so with those who wouldn’t. Regardless of the topic, she somehow always left her opponents smiling. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Bonadio; her mother, Nanny Wylie Bonadio; and Michael (Mike) Flynn, to whom she was married to for 30+ years. Connie is survived by her two sisters, Mary Antonia (Toni) Moraites and Laura (Bonnie) Pasqualina Rowe; her children, Michael (Mick) Flynn, Angie Middleton, and Matt Flynn; daughters-in-law Becca Flynn and Erin Flynn; son-in-law Josh Middleton; grandchildren Ally, Jason, Jillian, Dalton, Vincent, Nora, and Pierce; and the many nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Aunt Connie.” Nothing gave her more joy than watching her kids and grandchildren play sports; she rooted them fearlessly and proudly. A two‑time cancer survivor, Connie faced life’s challenges with grit, grace and her signature sass. Connie was a true original, passing on her terms — her final night on earth spent enjoying dinner with lifelong friends. She cherished her many friendships. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, strength and unconditional love. Connie will be celebrated by family and friends on Thursday, August 7, with a visitation from 4 to 6 pm and a memorial beginning at 6 pm. Services to be performed at Tobias Funeral Home – Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
