Dolores “Candy” Deviney 1945 – 2024 Fort Worth, TX Dolores Garza Deviney, affectionately known as Candy, peacefully left this world for her eternal home on December 1st, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on April 24th, 1945, in Fort Worth, TX, to Gonzalo Delgado Garza and Mary Martinez Garza, Candy was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. After graduating from Trimble Tech High School and later on, dedicated an impressive 43 years of her life to her role as a machinist at Lockheed Martin, where her hard work and commitment earned her numerous awards and recognition. Candy was a proud IAM member and her work ethic was truly admirable, serving as an inspiring example for those around her. Life outside of work brought her immense joy. She cherished moments spent at the movies, nurturing her beloved plants, and cheering on her boys at ballgames. Candy's spirit was vibrant and filled with a deep affection for Elvis, sunflowers, and her unwavering faith in Jesus. What was most endeared to those who loved her was her kind heart. Her warmth, compassion, and unconditional love for her family were the true treasures of her life. She will forever be remembered not just for her passions and accomplishments, but for the love she shared so generously with everyone fortunate enough to know her as "baseball granny". She is survived by one daughter, Regina Cisneros Killgo (Charles); three grandchildren, Kevin Kidd Jr. (Rome), Sarah Kidd and Ryan Killgo (Amber); seven great-grandchildren, Cameron Kidd, Kycen Kidd, Kyler Kidd, Lyndon Killgo, Brittney Wilkerson, Emily Reid, and Natalie Martinez; three great-great-grandchildren, Ace Hastings, Paisley Jones, and Zoey Wilkerson; and one brother, James Garza.
