Effie Philippas

Effie was born and raised in New York before starting her family in Connecticut. She was a proud mother of two, her son and daughter. She later moved to New Jersey raising her granddaughter. She worked as a secretary for Milu Bus and later worked as a secretary for Revenue Guard before retiring.

She was a beautiful singer and dancer, Greek dancing was her favorite. Her greatest pride was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to cook for visits with family. Her pasticio was legendary. She made everyone feel welcome with her witty spirit and generosity. She was a friend to everyone.
