Enos MacKenzie 1960 – 2025 Enos Charles MacKenzie, 64, passed away at home, February 7th 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Wendy MacKenzie. Enos was born July 7th 1960, to the late Robert and Florence MacKenzie. He started his lifetime career of excavation at Towne and Aurell in the mid 80's, where he worked devotedly until 2024. Enos enjoyed Friday night fires with his brothers and friends, weekends on his porch, and annual trips to the beach and camping. He also loved watching his grandchildren grow up, and any time spent with family. He was inventive, creative, and a craftsman. His love for his family was limitless. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them. He was always first at lending a hand or an offering if something was needed. If he cared about you, he’d have given you the shirt off his back. At first glance he could be mistaken for a bulldog, but he was truly a teddy bear. He was Superman, we’d swear. The only person known who’d been struck by lighting, direct hit, and went back to the party after a brief visit to the hospital. He’d been through it all, and never complained, in sickness and in health. His strength was unmatched. He lived a simple life. Minimal requirements for making him content. Visiting with family, some country music playing in the background, and maybe…back in the day…a cold miller lite in hand was all he needed.
