Georgia Oliver 1939 – 2023 Georgia Oliver was born in Evanston Wy Oct 6 , 1939 to Inez Ingram, and George McVey , she grew up to the 3 rd grade there and then her and her Mother Inez moved to Goshen Utah, to help with her bed ridden Grandfather, she loved her home help her Uncle’s, especially Ralph Jasperson with the farm, riding the Horses, gardening, and all the farm chores, at the age of 17 she met Erwin Oliver from Mona Utah, they married and in that union they had 5 children Rocky Erwin Oliver, Tamy Georgia Oliver ( Jaramillo) Wendy Georgia Oliver (Brandt), Harrison M Oliver, Desi Oliver ( Calvert). They raised their Family on the Bears Ears of the elk Ridge in San Juan County Utah, and in the city of Blanding, she loved her western lifestyle, and her family meant everything to her. They cowboy and she was a cook and helper for the TY Ranch, she loved the Mountain and she always asked to return and half of her remains were spread there by her wishes, they also owned the shirttail store in Blanding where she worked tirelessly to keep running , After the sale of the store she worked as a clerk for many years for the new owners, then her allergies proceeded to get worse and she got disability and stayed home raising her kids, baby sitting , and odd jobs keeping her busy, helping with her Grandchildren and great grandchildren as much as possible, she loved her family and was always making sure she got them a Christmas present or birthday present rather she could afford it or not always doing without to give to her family, she was a fun Grandma taking trips to see the local sites,national parks, trips to lagoon, zoo, and so much more, her journey of Great Grandma turned into rearranging the living room to play army guy’s, Dinosaurs, playing legos, or getting into a competitive game of cards or board games, As she started to loose her memory she worked on staying in her own home as long as possible she succeeded that mission for at least 6 years when after illnesses she could no longer care for her self , she moved in with her Daughter Desi for a full year before her passing Sept 16, 2023, her year was hard but very rewarding of love, stories, and lots of jokes and sarcastic comments, she was an extraordinary woman and Mother as well as an amazing friend.
