Germaine (Jeri) Travelino 1952 – 2025 Schaumburg, IL Germaine (Jeri) Travelino, age 72, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, after several years of health challenges. Born on July 14, 1952, in Euclid, OH, to John and Julia Jenda, Jeri grew up alongside her beloved big brother, Dennis (Jane) Jenda. She carried the warmth of her parents and the strength of her family values throughout her life, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and tradition. Jeri was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Travelino, with whom she shared many beautiful years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Julie Ann), Vincent (the late Angela), and Julia Rose, along with her fur baby Coco. She was a proud grandmother to Gianna, Anthony, and Michael, and is preceded in death by her grandson Nicholas. Jeri is lovingly remembered by her cherished nieces and nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Jeri’s life was defined by devotion, resilience, and a generous spirit. Known for her kind heart and her willingness to always put others first, she found joy in family traditions—especially the magic of Christmas—and in her kitchen, where she loved to cook and bake for those she loved. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her children and grandchildren, celebrating milestones and cherishing everyday moments. In her passing, Jeri is reunited with her husband Anthony; her daughter-in-law Angela; her grandson Nicholas; her parents John and Julia Jenda; her in-laws Thomas and Rose Travelino; her sister-in-law Lucille DeMaria; and other cherished family members, friends, and beloved pets. Though she will be deeply missed, Jeri will forever be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on in the laughter of her children and grandchildren, the traditions she instilled, and the bonds of family she so deeply valued. Her love is our inheritance, and it will guide us always.
