Jack (John) Ebel John "Jack" Albert Ebel passed away suddenly at home on March 16, 2026, in Boulder, Colorado. He was 71 years old. Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1954, Jack was a deeply kind and gentle man whose warmth and steady presence were a blessing to everyone who knew him. He was a man who was always giving of himself, putting the needs of others before his own. Jack developed a highly successful construction business over his career, demonstrating remarkable precision and perfectionism in every project he undertook. While dedicated to his craft, his greatest joy in life was his family, and strived to create a welcoming, loving home. He was the best brother to his three sisters and always looked out for them throughout his life. He also had a lifelong passion for jeeps and trucks, appreciating the mechanics of a good vehicle and the freedom of the open road. In his later years, his favorite moments were spent by the water, passing down his love for the outdoors while fishing with his grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jean (Sawyer) Ebel and Albert Ebel. He is survived by his wife, Krista (Kuhlman) Ebel; daughter, Stephanie Ebel Dane (Casey); son, Brandon Ebel; and two grandchildren, Tyler Dane and Hannah Dane, who brought him immense joy. He also leaves behind his loving sisters, Barbara Jackson (Allen), Janice MacRae (Wayne), and Kathlynn Daly (Scott); and his niece, Sara Jeffers (Greg); and grandnieces, Alexis and Olivia. He will be forever in our hearts and may he rest in eternal peace. “I am the resurrection and life: he who believes in Me, even if he dies, shall live and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.”
