JoEllen Passarelli 1952 – 2002 Jo Ellen Passarelli, affectionately known as Jody, was born on July 8, 1952, in Hamilton, Columbus. The daughter of Clifford Eleanor Spence Passarelli and Joe Passarelli, Jody grew up in the close-knit community of Pine Mountain Valley, where she spent the majority of her life, fostering deep ties to her hometown. Jody dedicated her professional career to caregiving as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Phoenix House in Waverly Hall. Her compassionate nature and commitment to helping others defined her work, earning her respect and admiration among colleagues and patients alike. A woman of faith, Jody was an active member of the Pine Mountain Valley Church of God, where she found spiritual fulfillment and community connection. Her involvement in the church reflected her values of kindness, service, and devotion to those around her. Jody’s legacy lives on through her family, whom she cherished deeply. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Mannix of Pine Mountain and Keith of Warm Springs. She was also a proud grandmother to Drew of Pine Mountain and lovingly known as “Nana” to Brittney. Jody is also remembered by her two sisters, Doloris of Columbus and Theresa of Warm Springs, with whom she shared a close bond.
