Aunt Judy’s Walk

In morning’s glow, she’d lace her shoes,
And wander where the sunlight hues
The earth with warmth, the sky with grace,
A gentle smile upon her face.

With coffee’s steam and pages turned,
She’d lose herself where stories burned
In quiet corners, worlds anew,
Her heart as open as the view.

Each birthday marked with thoughtful care,
A gift, a note, a love to share.
To us, she was a guiding light,
Her presence made our world more bright.

With Scrabble tiles and puzzle’s art,
She played with joy, a patient heart.
Each word a bridge, each piece a clue,
Her laughter bright, her spirit true.

In every word, in every smile,
She made our lives more bright, worthwhile.
Her humble heart, her gentle ways,
Will echo through our coming days.

So here’s to Judy, pure and kind,
A treasure in our hearts enshrined.
Her love remains, a constant guide,
Forever with us, by our side…..

I’ll miss you Aunt Judy. I am forever grateful for your influence in my life. Thank you making my childhood so memorable. For every Whitey’s icecream run, for letting me play in your makeup and jewelry box, for every sleepover, for every hug, phone call, card, and prayer. Thank you for it all!! You are forever in my heart, until we are together again!
