Kaylee Fox-Whaley 2010 – 2023 Kaylee Ann was for starters, a hero. She saved Fox’s life on multiple occasions. She is survived by her mama, dad, and brother Poe (and new brother Ricky). Trained as a remarkable service dog, she shared life with her humans in the most special way that a lot of pets don’t get to. It seemed like she knew it too. She was always excited to go anywhere with them, on walks, to play, or even if it meant going to the hospital for hours on end. She was a soulmate, a best friend, a home, to her most cherished people. She had a rough go of it for a little while but eventually, through the help of her wonderful dad, got better. She loved him almost as much as she loved mama. And he loved her even more. She was surrounded by love with her parents, who did everything they could to keep her around for as long as possible. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. But she sent them a very special pup when she knew they were ready. He has some of her puppy mannerisms, and the intuition when someone’s upset just like she did. We miss her every day, and mama knows you’re with them every time Ricky nips their butt in play. Hopefully Kaylee is running through snow, chasing toys, playing with Lambchop, and having fun with all the other best dogs that have kept other friends alive. Thank you for everything, Kaylee. We’ll always love you.
