Keigan Atkinson 2008 – 2024 chesaning, Michigan Born on April 10, 2008, in Owosso, Michigan, Keigan’s life was tragically cut short in December 2024, but his light and the joy he shared continue to live on in all who knew him. From a young age, Keigan dreamed of playing hockey like his Uncle Zach. He started roller hockey at just three years old and soon moved to the ice, eventually joining the 2008 Saginaw Junior Spirits Travel Team. In the 2018/2019 season, he and his teammates proudly brought home a state title from Calumet, Michigan. Keigan was also a natural athlete in basketball, baseball, and football, always giving his best no matter the sport. As a junior at Chesaning Union High School, he was attending SCC, following in his Uncle Todd’s footsteps by studying Auto Body. He had a smile that could light up any room and a personality that made everyone feel welcome. His humor was unforgettable, his energy contagious, and his presence left a lasting mark on all who knew him. More than anything, Keigan was a son, a brother, a nephew, and a loyal friend. He lived life to the fullest and made the world brighter simply by being himself. The legacy of Keigan lives on in every story shared and every memory cherished.
