Kevin Bonaguro
1985 – 2024

Kevin Francis Bonaguro, 39, devoted husband of Kassandra Bonaguro, died Tuesday December 31, 2024.

Born in Lynbrook, NY, he was the son of Sharon Kane and John Bonaguro. In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he is survived by his sons, Alex , Blaze, and James Bonaguro; seven siblings. 

Kevin was a devoted and loving husband and father. He lived his life to the fullest. Always unapologetically true to himself. Kevin knew the limitations of the time we have on this earth and kept that at the forefront of his actions and made sure to use the time he had loving the people he knew, impacting so many lives, and traveling with his family, specifically on their trips to see all the baseball stadiums. He made friends everywhere he went and had a loud personality that always lit up a room. 

Kevin spent his young adult years serving in the United States Army as a military police officer. This easily transitioned him into becoming a deputy with the Greenville County Sheriffs Dept. More recently he was most often found on the baseball field coaching and sharing his love for the game, especially if you liked the Mets. Kevin also enjoyed his early mornings at the gym with friends and training service dogs for other veterans through Warrior Canine Connection. 

But his life was his family. He loved fiercely and had an infectious love for life that he shared with everyone. Kevin would want all of you to live, really live because you never know when it's your time to leave this place.
