Larry Cole 1942 – 2026 Larry was born on May 11, 1942, to parents Robert and Lois Cole, and attended grade school both in Canby and Mulino, graduating from Molalla High School in 1960. He married Karyn Williams, to whom he referred to as “the girl next door” on December 31, 1966. Larry was both baptized and married at First Baptist Church of Oregon City, where he was active on the Stewardship Board for many years and especially enjoyed working on building projects. Larry was proud of his two children, Kristine (Cole) Cashwell and Steven Cole, rarely missing any of their music and sporting events, and enjoyed his six grandchildren. He retired in 2008 as an estimator and salesman for a construction supply company. Larry and Karyn took many trips in their motor home, several trips to St. Croix, U.S.V.I. to visit Kris while she was living there, 10 cruises, and to England. Sunriver became a favorite destination in later years. He also enjoyed walking/hiking, Bible study, taking care of his yard, and researching church and Oregon City history. He was a member of men’s Bible Study Fellowship for 14 years. Larry is survived by his wife, Karyn, children Kristine (Spencer) Cashwell, Steven (Nicole) Cole, and grandchildren, Jacob Trask, Mason Trask, Caleb Cole, Paige Cole, Kayla Cashwell, and Piper Cashwell.
