Levota Baehr 2024 – 2024 Kent, Washington Levota Dea Baehr, 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington on November 7, 2024, due to cardiac complication from her long-time thyroid disease. Levota was born on January 24, 1946, in Seattle, Washington to Tyrus Burnett and Esther Duncan (Pyatte) as a twin sister to Devota. She was later raised by her loving mother and stepfather Columbus Pyatte. Levota grew up in Washington State. Where she got married and started her family. She lived in Missouri for a short time where she had her two youngest children. She finally settled back in Washington State where she continued to raise her family. Levota meet her soul mate, the love of her life Frank Baehr in March of 1990 while working at Holman Distribution center. After a very short courtship they were married on June 1, 1990. They just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary together this year. They created a beautiful life together. Levota had a passion for many things. Her hands were never idle. She loved to sew, cook, craft, travel and go antiquing. She spent hours mastering her talents and skills. She loved to preserve food as well as teach others. She would spend hours canning fruits, vegetables, and meat with family and friends. She was a caregiver. She worked hard and loved to play games and spend time with family and friends. Levota taught us all the importance of kindness, of standing up for what’s right and to always try our best. She led by example, showing us what it means to live a life filled with love, integrity, and compassion. She had a heart that was always open and ready to give. Whether it was through volunteer work, or her willingness to lend a helping hand to friends, family or a stranger, she made a difference in the lives of countless people. Her acts of kindness, both big and small, created a ripple of goodwill and touched the hearts of many. Levota is preceded in death by her parents, son Derald Wood, son-in-law James Mac Inday, grandchild Hope LeAnn Wood, great-grandchildren Hunter Parkins & Sklyer Burnett, brother’s James & Merrill Burnett and brother-in-law Robert Larson. Levota will forever be remembered by her loving husband Frank Baehr and her children Bonnie & Floyd Davis, Darren Wood, Leona & Brett Reinhardt and Teresa Mac Inday, her sister Devota Larson, and brothers Walter & Calvin Burnett, sister-in-law Joyce Burnett. Levota will also be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 4 great-children and her nieces and nephews, and extended family and dear friends. Above all we give thanks for the life of a woman, the unique, the complex, the extraordinary and irreplaceable Levota whose beauty, both internal and external, will never be extinguished from our minds. Let us remember her vibrant spirit, her warm smile, and the love she carried for her beloved family and friends, though she may be physically gone, she will remain forever in our hearts.
