Lily Brookstown, born in 1983, passed from this world in 2026 at the age of 43. She dedicated her professional life to researching childhood cancer, work that she approached not as a burden but as a genuine source of joy. Those who knew her understood that her career was not simply what she did for a living, it was something she loved deeply and embraced with her whole heart.

Lily brought that same warmth and commitment to everything she touched. She is survived by her nephew DJ Brookstown, who now holds her memory close. A memorial service has been held to honor her life.
