Linda Pettitt 1950 – 2025 Stevensville, Montana Linda Susan Pettitt (Martin) was born on April 22, 1950, the oldest of three children to George M. and Margorie A. Martin of Auburn, WA. With Italian, German, Irish, and English roots, her Italian heritage often stood out. She grew up in Auburn alongside her younger brothers, Pat and Mike, and all three graduated from Auburn Senior High. In her early twenties, Linda began a lifelong career at PACCAR in Renton, WA, where she worked until retiring. She married three times—first to Gerald Jarvis Jr., with whom she had her only child, Michael Jarvis. She later married Jim Davidson before finding her true love, husband Michael Pettitt, who also worked at PACCAR. After retirement, Linda and Michael settled in Stevensville, MT, building their dream home at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. She became a grandmother in 2019 with the birth of Arya, followed by Riley in 2022. Linda passed peacefully on April 8, 2025, at the age of 74, at Bitterroot Hospital in Hamilton, MT, surrounded by family. She was funny, warm, loving, and genuine, cherishing her roles as mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. Forever in our hearts, she will be deeply missed—there will never be another quite like Linda. Rest in peace, we love you eternally!
