Lynn MacKinnon
1951 – 2021

Lynda Jane “Lynn” Friedman MacKinnon of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was seventy.
            Lynn was born May 29, 1951, to the late Betty and Harold Friedman in Miami, Florida. She earned a Bachelor’s in Recreation from Florida State University. She lived in South Miami, FL, until April, 2020, when she moved with her husband to Hendersonville, NC. Lynn was dedicated to helping others through the 12-step groups Al-Anon and Alateen. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville and enjoyed singing in the choir. She recently began singing with the Flat Rock Playhouse chorus. Lynn loved spending time with her husband and her children. She loved cooking, gardening, animals and nature.
