Michael Molina 1984 – 2024 Michael was known for his warm smile, sense of humor, and love for his family. Michael Andy Molina, 40, of Huntington Park, CA, died in Utah on Friday December 6, 2024. He was born in Monterey Park, CA in 1984 to Andy and Irma Molina and older sister Jessika. As a child, Michael was known as a thrill seeker and constantly pushed the limits on what he could accomplish, like learning new tricks on his skateboard or bike. As one of the only boys in the family, Michael was a rabble rauser and he loved the attention he got from making people laugh, getting a reaction out of you - good or bad, and making his presence known. His big personality stood out in our family of big personalities. Michael was the life and soul of our family. He put the Familia in our family. He was always welcoming with newcomers, of course he gave you a hard time at first, telling you how it is and not beating around the bush, but by the end of the night you were likely on the other side of a friendly "salud!" Michael inherited many of his traits from his parents. From his dad, Andres, Michael developed a strong work ethic, dedication to doing things the right way and not the easy way, and mental discipline. From his mom, Irma, Michael learned how to celebrate, live life to the fullest, and how to love with his whole heart. There was always something to be grateful for. From his sister, Jessika, Michael learned how to stay cool under pressure, speak up when he had something to say, and work efficiently to get things done. Michael comes from an action oriented family. We all felt the sense of pride Michael had at his last stage of life. He was the happiest we'd ever seen him, thriving as a leader at work, building his home and family in Utah, and marrying the love of his life, Lisa. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Antonio and Antonia Arevalo and Antonio and Gregoria Molina, and is survived by his wife Lisa, stepson Jason, fur babies Zoey and Shelby, parents Andy and Irma, sister Jessika, and his large extended family. Michael's time on this earth was much too short. We will all miss him terribly every day. May we all continue to share our stories and memories of him with each other. This is how his love lives on and the legend is created. We love you so much. Though Michael's body is now resting we know his spirit and life force will continue to grow through each of us. We must not let it fade. Rest now, but we know your work is not done, we will help you finish it, Michael, we promise.
