Minnie Boggs 1941 – 2015 Minnie June England Boggs June 15, 1941 – November 21, 2015 Minnie "June" England Boggs, age 74, of Maynardville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, November 21, 2015, at North Knoxville Medical Center, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. Born on June 15, 1941, June lived a life defined by devotion—to her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and especially to her brothers and sisters, whom she worked tirelessly to keep close. She believed family was everything, and she made it her mission to hold everyone together, ensuring that no matter how far life pulled them, they always found their way back to one another. Because of her, bonds were strengthened, memories were shared, and love endured across generations. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank England and Basal Wise England, and her brother, Walter (Jim) England, who she loved dearly and carried in her heart always. June leaves behind the love of her life and partner of 54 years, her husband, Ray Boggs, whose life was forever intertwined with hers. She was a proud and devoted mother to her children: Kathy Hancock; Debbie (David) Blair; Bobbie (Ricky) Nelson; Lora Boggs; Pete (Sharon) Boggs; and Terry Boggs. Her children were her world, and she poured her heart into each of them—guiding them, supporting them, and loving them unconditionally through every season of life. Her greatest joy came from her grandchildren: Brandi Grissino-Mayer, Sabrina Blair, Brittiany Hancock, Russ Hancock, Kalob Hancock, Courtney Linebarger, Joshua Nelson, Johnathan Nelson, and Mandy Boggs, and her nine great-grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she took pride in watching her family grow. Her love for them was endless, and she made sure each one knew they were deeply cherished. June was also a devoted sister, and the heart of a large, loving family. She is survived by her siblings: Robert (Alice) England, Lucille England, Eula (Roy) Bradley, Shirley Graham, Wayne England, Annie (Ralph) Long, Jane (Tim) Lawson, and Dewey (Maribeth) England, Dale England. She shared a lifelong bond with each of them, and she worked hard to keep those relationships strong, believing that family unity was one of life’s greatest blessings. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, strength, and unwavering love. June will be remembered as a woman of incredible faith, strength and heart—a woman who held her family together, who loved without limits, and who gave everything she had to those she cared about. Her home was a place of comfort, her presence a source of peace, and her love a guiding light that will continue to shine through her family for generations to come. Though she is no longer with us, the love she built, the family she nurtured, and the memories she created will live on forever.
