Nancy (or Mamaw as many people called her) grew up and attended school in Sanderson, Texas.  She met what she called “love at first sight” Delmer “Bud” Lee Ivy in July of 1955. They married on December 27, 1956 and made their home in Sheffield, Texas. They later moved to Sealy, Katy and Brookshire before making their final home in Sealy, Texas again.
