Pauline Hill, 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at University Heights Nursing Home in Indianapolis, IN. She was a resident of Greenwood, IN.



She was born on June 4, 1938 in Russell Springs, KY to Loman and Lutha R. (Hale) Ashbrook. She married Richard P. Hill on July 2, 1964. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons Richard C. Hill (Anita), Christopher Smith Hill (Richard); grandchildren Ashley C. Hill, Madison E. Hill, Octavious Smith Hill; great-grandchildren Asialynn, Arianna; sister Euldene Wilmoth (Joel); brother Charles W. Ashbrook (Rebecca Andrews); numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-mother Opal R. Ashbrook; and sister Imogene Boltz.



Pauline was a graduate of Warren Central High School class of 1956.



She was employed at Eli Lilly Co. in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years in insulin production purchasing.



Pauline was member of Greenwood Bible Baptist Church; she enjoyed playing golf and traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC.



A celebration of Pauline’s life will be conducted on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 6:00pm at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home 2898 N. Morton St. Franklin, IN 46131. Friends may call from 4:00pm until the service time.
