Richard Arnold 1948 – 2025 Richard was born in Vinita Oklahoma on September 18, 1948 to Orley, Roscoe Arnold and Jessie Lee Wingfield. He met Carol Sue Pittman in the summer of 1968 and married on October 22, 1968. They lived life like they were forever newlyweds. He was predeceased by his father Orley Roscoe Arnold and mother, Jessie Lee Arnold Davis, his brother Robert Wingfield and his brother James Arnold. Richard lost his dad at age 11 and was raised by his mother along with his brothers. He was very close to his mom and brothers growing up in the Jay Oklahoma area. Richard joined the United States Army in during the Vietnam war where he served as a munitions and supply truck transport stationed in Germany. He returned home to his wife, Carol, where they lived in Tulsa with their three children; Mary, Jeff and Lisa. Richard worked as a foreman on a housing development which led him back to Jay Oklahoma where he became the park manager for Pine Island resort. He and Carol worked there together for many years as well as with their children. Richard lived a life putting God, his wife and family first. He love to fish, hunt, camp and be outdoors. He loved to spend his time with his wife who was his best friend. He also loved to be with his kids. The grandkids came along and they were his world. He shared his faith in God with his family and became the marker for who you wanted to be in a marriage, a family, and personally. Richard was respected, not because you had to, but because he earned it every day by the way he lived his life. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Carol S. (Pittman) Arnold. His three children daughter, Mary Jean Randolph and her husband Glenn Randolph, son, Jeff Allen Arnold, and daughter Lisa Marie DuVall and her husband Brad DuVall. His eight grandchildren; Jeremy Randolph, Cody Sills, Caleb Arnold, Jessica Arnold, Jesse Sills, Justice Sills, Jacob Randolph, and Alexander Rollo. He was also survived by his six great grandchildren; King James, Indie, Emery, Noah, Jeremiah and Lee Lee
