Robert Lewis
1954 – 2020
Searsmont, Maine

Robert was born in Rockland Maine, to Beverly Kitching Lewis and Robert Lewis Sr. He was the oldest of three children. He grew up in the area listening to 70’s rock music and playing his harmonica. He married Terry Garbotz in August of 1983 and had 2 daughters, Carly and Jolene. The family lived in Searsmont Maine for many years before spending several years in Virginia. Eventually they found their way back to Searsmont, where he lived out his remaining days with his wife, being visited frequently by multiple grandchildren. Let us not forget his faithful dogs Sheba, Bella, Mae Mae and Lincoln through the years whom he overfed and spoiled rotten.

“Pop pop” was a simple man who never wasted time wanting for more then what he had. He taught his family many valuable lessons like you much have a “diddy sack” full of miscellaneous items with you at all times, you must start your car 30 minutes before you plan to take off, and you absolutely must have a spare roll of toilet paper and matches in the car because, well…. You just never know.
