Audie Alvarez wasn’t just my wife—she was my heart, my home, my best friend. She was the kind of woman who made the world brighter just by being in it. She was most proud of her role as a wife, a mother, and a friend. She gave her whole heart to her family and never asked for anything in return. Loving her was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Losing her—the hardest. There isn’t a day that passes without missing her laugh, her advice, or just the way she made our house feel like a home.
