Audie Alvarez wasn’t just my wife—she was my heart, my home, my best friend. She was the kind of woman who made the world brighter just by being in it. Her laugh could cut through the hardest day, and her strength held our family together in ways words could never fully explain. Audie worked hard in everything she did—not for recognition or reward, but because she believed in doing things right and giving her all. Whether she was putting in long hours, cheering on her beloved Longhorns, lining up her swing on the golf course, or quietly building a LEGO figure at the kitchen table, she did it with joy, intention, and love. She was most proud of her role as a wife, a mother, and a friend. She gave her whole heart to her family and never asked for anything in return. Loving her was the easiest thing I’ve ever done. Losing her—the hardest. There isn’t a day that passes without missing her laugh, her advice, or just the way she made our house feel like a home. But I carry her with me—in the little things, in the big memories, and in the way I try to live with the same grace and love she showed every day. I love you, Audie. Always have. Always will.
Let the memory of Adriana be with us forever.
Audie Alvarez was a dedicated and hardworking woman who poured her heart into everything she did. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, whom she loved fiercely and selflessly. In her spare time, Audie found happiness in the simple things that brought her peace—cheering on Longhorn football, teeing off at the golf course, and building LEGO figures with patience and creativity. Her warmth, strength, and playful spirit continue to inspire all who knew her.
