Annie Grant, lovingly known as "Grannie Annie," was born in 1934 in Henrietta, Texas, and lived a life defined by devotion to the people she loved. She passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 92.

A homemaker at heart, Annie spent her years caring for her family with quiet dedication and a gentle spirit. After her husband passed away, she sold her home and chose to spend the rest of her life living alongside her children and grandchildren, a decision that spoke volumes about what mattered most to her. Those who knew her remember a woman with a warm and kind nature who found real joy in the simple pleasures of family life. She especially treasured trips taken together, knowing that shared memories are among the most lasting gifts one person can give another.

Annie also had a lifelong love of dachshunds, and it was rare to find her without a small, faithful companion nearby.

She is survived by her daughter, Christie, and her grandchildren, Dalton, Shaun, Chelsea, and Jessica. She was preceded in death by her sons, Steve and Gary.

Grannie Annie will be deeply missed by her family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, her presence, and the love she poured into every corner of family life leave behind a warmth that will not fade.
