Obituary

Ashley Kenyon (Pritchard) was born in 1986 in Dayton, Ohio, and lived forty years that left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She passed away in 2026, and the world is quieter, and a little less lively, for her absence.

Ashley was, above all else, a daughter, a mother, and a sister. Those who loved her would also tell you, with a smile they couldn't hold back, that she was a menace, and they mean that in the best possible way. She had a way of filling a room, stirring things up, and making sure nobody got too comfortable or too serious. That energy was a gift, even when it didn't feel like one in the moment.

She is survived by her children, LilyAnn and Bradie, who carry her spirit forward every day. She is also survived by Matt and Olivia Coleman, Hunter Ford, Lainey Grace, and Melanie Hardman, all of whom held a place in her life and in her heart. Her best friend, Omiaya Renee (Shepherd), knew her in the way only a true best friend can, seeing all of her and choosing her anyway.

A service has already been held to honor her life and give those who loved her a chance to gather and remember. That gathering, no doubt, had moments of laughter alongside the grief, because that is the kind of person Ashley was. She did not pass through life quietly, and she would not have wanted to be remembered quietly either.

She was loved deeply and will be missed in ways that are hard to put into words.
