Obituary

Ashton Octavio Rojas, 17, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Red Bay Hospital.  He graduated Class of 2023 from Belmont High School. He received a tennis scholarship from Northeast Mississippi Community College where he would begin his dream of becoming a lawyer.  He worked as a cook at Sonic in Belmont. He was an ambitious son, charismatic brother and was known as Uncle Ashton by his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his father, Hector Rojas (Norma); his mother, Diana Rojas Headrick; brothers and sisters, Jacob Hunt, Malina Hunt, Dominic Rojas and Isabel Rojas; nieces and nephews, Damian, Dominic, Kiley, Hayes Grace and Cayden; grandparents, Thomas and Isabel Rojas and Ken and Fay Headrick and uncles and aunts, Randy and Maja Headrick, Randy and Sherry Harbor, John Roberson and Terri Headrick.
