Boniane Clifford, 70, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026.

Born in Colchester, Connecticut, Boniane spent much of her life in Jewett City, where she raised her family and made many lifelong friendships.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clifford and Patricia Lambert. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Danielle Trudeau; her grandchildren, Albert Felix Gladue IV, Isabelle Delores Trudeau, and Addisen Dae Trudeau.

Boniane enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved fishing, spending time at the beach, and getting together with family for barbecues. More than anything, she loved being "Grandma." Her grandchildren were the center of her world, and she never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

A hardworking and determined single mom, Boniane put herself through school and always found a way to provide for her family. She was known for her kind heart, welcoming nature, and ability to make people feel at home. She had a way of making friends wherever she went, and she will be remembered for the warmth and laughter she brought into the lives of those around her.

In keeping with Boniane's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends once they have been finalized.

Boniane will be remembered with smiles, laughter, and many happy memories by all who knew and loved her.
