Let the memory of Brenten be with us forever.
Brenten J Haver, known by his friends and family as J or BJ, died suddenly of natural causes Thursday September 11th at the age of 61. He is survived by the love of his life Angie and would have celebrated their 40th anniversary on December 22nd. He is also survived by his beautiful daughters and grandchildren who he loved immensely Jazmin (Eric) Pfeifer, Jade (Kevin) Green, Charleigh, Brody and Asher Pfeifer. He will be missed by his siblings, Jason Haver, Joshua Basoukas, Christi (Shane) Geary, Nicole Tenebruso, and Todd Allen and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews as well as all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, J Haver and mother, Lin Wilson. While J’s world revolved around his family, his first love was God. He served the Spring Road Church of Christ as an elder for over 20 years and lived a God filled life. He met his wife in 7th grade, and they were together from their senior year in high school. He spent his life creating a life for his family to enjoy each day in a beautiful place. J shared his family’s home with his friends throughout his life including his Monday night basketball games at his home to golf outings in Florida at his second home and football games at the park. He was awaiting his wife for a weekend in Florida when he passed. J received his degree in English Education from the Ohio State University after spending many years building and working on airplanes for Rockell, McDonnell Douglas, and Boeing and helped to build Air Force One. He served in the Air force Reserves beginning in 1984. He supported all those who served and was proud to be a member of the armed services. J worked as a consultant in the telecom service industry for a long time and retired from that work. J helped create Generations Performing Arts Center and worked tirelessly to build spaces for the students to come train and grow not only as dancers but as humans. He was so proud of the work that was done there and reminded his wife regularly of how much it blessed each of the students and that it was God’s work. He spent endless hours renovating and maintaining the physical spaces and was so proud of the business. J loved his family so much and enjoyed taking them to Florida to enjoy time at the home there he created to be a “happy place” He enjoyed attending Charleigh’s dance events and her first football game as a cheerleader this month. He also enjoyed watching Brody and Asher’s Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer games. He got so much joy from his 3 grandchildren, and he was so proud of his daughters and the Christian women they have become. J loved everyone he met and treated them with love and respect. He maintained lifelong friendships with many he met in Elementary, Middle and High School and they will miss him dearly. His sports crew are all wonderful men whom he loved and will miss his basketball games and golf trips together. J believed in living life to its fullest and his presence will be missed daily by so many. J appreciated the beauty in this life that was derived from where he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He loved bright colors, pretty flowers in his yard and home and looked for beautiful things in his surroundings. We hope you will share in wearing bright colors in his honor if you are able to visit with us💕 Visiting hours will be Sunday September 21st from 1-4 pm at the Spring Rd Church of Christ, 74 South Spring Rd in Westerville.
