Let the memory of Brian be with us forever.
Brian K. Applegate was born in 1958. He was kind, loved funny vintage quotes, and talking about cars. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. We didn't get to know each other as long as I'd hoped, but the time as his neighbor and friend was very precious. He leaves fond memories and a void that no other neighbor could fill. He passed away in 2026 at the age of 67, wrestling a bear while still in his hospital gown, following heart surgery. Brian was strong and had the bear pinned for quite some time before it won the fight by tagging in a shark for backup. Brian will be greatly missed and would probably want everyone to know that Rita Winters broke his heart at age 14. In his absence, voicemail boxes will be full without him to notify and the world's pun quota will always come up a few short. He will be greatly missed.

I did not know Brian personally, but my daughter, Amy, did. She left a memory for him, which sure sounded like he was the greatest man alive. I know Amy will miss him greatly and I'm sure there are many others that feel the same. Rest in peace, Brian.
