Obituary

David Ogagarhe Elo, also known as Ezo, was born in 1969 and passed from this world in 2026, at the age of 57. He was a man whose presence left a mark on those fortunate enough to know him, and whose memory will be carried forward with love by all who called him family and friend.

To his siblings, David was more than a brother. He was a constant, a familiar voice, and a steady presence through the seasons of life. The bond he shared with those closest to him was one built over years of shared moments, quiet understandings, and the kind of loyalty that only family can offer. His nickname, Ezo, speaks to the closeness he inspired in others, the way people drew near to him and made him their own.

David also gave time to service, a chapter of his life that reflected a sense of duty and commitment to something larger than himself.

He was not a man easily forgotten. The way he carried himself, the relationships he nurtured, and the life he built over 57 years left behind something real and lasting. Grief, in moments like these, is simply love with nowhere left to go, and there is a great deal of love surrounding David's memory today.

He leaves behind those who will miss him deeply, who will speak his name with tenderness, and who will keep his story alive in the ways that matter most. May he rest in the peace he deserves, and may those who loved him find comfort in everything he gave them while he was here.

Apostle Elo!!! I know there's no way I will write this tribute without tears... Farewell my brother! At last your soul has found rest... Your memory of towering and unmatched spiritual, emotional and physical stature, energy, authority, passion and sacrifice will forever remain alive! Surely I will miss your calls, the plans, the next programs, the unending and inspiring zeal for the Lord, for the church and humanity at large!! Passion for souls.

Apostle David Elo Ezo was a man that have passion for souls. Especially to the youth. He dedicated his life and calling to the youth ministry as a thank you to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after his encounter with his Master, who redirected his life and purpose for living. We had plans and events together for the month of August,2026. But the call home of my brother, friend and in-law after our last family gatherings did not come to past as planned. However though my heart is heavy. I will not question the Almighty our Maker. It is well with all our souls in the family in Jesus name. Amen.

The few times we saw and fellowshipped with Apostle David were pure bliss. He carried a light and joyful spirit around him, a presence that lifted every part of our fellowship. He was an aggressive, relentless pursuer of the matters of God’s Kingdom work and ministry. He didn’t just preach the Gospel, he lived it. His life was marked by prayer, devotion, and a deep love for souls. I read some of his books and saw the heart of a man who truly loved his Heavenly Father — the One he is now with in eternity, face to face. We thank God for his life, his labor, and his legacy. Though we grieve, we do not grieve without hope. Jesus, The Christ is Lord! Well done, good and faithful servant. Until we meet again in glory. Rest In Power!

Farewell brother.

Apostle David Elo(EZO) had me as an intimate brother in Lagos and always share intimate issues with me .We often plan his Zeal for God's work together,especially his passion for Youths and souls to be delivered. Alas..his of address from this planet remains a mystery...Adieu dear brother.
