Derrick Bowman

Derrick Bowman - 1985/2025 Derrick Bowman, 39, of Austin, Texas, passed away on June 9th, 2025. He was born in Dallas, Texas, in 1985 to his parents, Derrick Bowman and Debra Carrigan. Derrick was a beloved husband, son, father, brother friend. Derrick graduated from Lamar High School before he attended Prairie View A&M University on a full paid football scholarship to study computer science. He then went on to work for the State of Texas for nine years. He is survived by his wife and college sweetheart of 21 years, Lindsey Bowman, and their 3 children: Makayla Bowman, Brianna Bowman, and Rylee Bowman. Derrick enjoyed yelling at the TV when the Cowboys were playing, watching boxing, supporting his children during their extracurricular activities, hanging out with his friends, going fishing, and going out on dates with Lindsey. His daz- zling personality, sense of humor, and kindness will be greatly missed. He was a beautiful soul who touched many lives and will always be in our thoughts.
