Let the memory of Aidan be with us forever.
Aidan, was just 21. And though his time here was far too short, he lived more fully than most people ever do. He lived with heart, with courage, with a spark that made you feel lucky just to be around him. To describe Aidan is to try and capture lightning. He was hilarious. Not just funny — hilarious. The kind of person who could have you laughing so hard your sides hurt. He had this mischievous grin that warned you a prank was coming… and somehow, even when you were the target, you couldn’t help but laugh. That was Aidan. He was a prankster. A jokester. A chaos-maker in the best possible way. And behind all of that was someone whose joy was infectious. He made life more fun. More alive. Aidan was always up for anything. If someone had a wild idea, he was the first to say, “Let’s do it.” He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t second-guess. He jumped in, head first, heart wide open. And he brought the rest of us along for the ride. His family, specifically, his cousins weren’t just family — they were his best friends. His crew. His people. They shared everything — childhood adventures, laughter, trouble, inside jokes, and the kind of bond that only comes when you grow up together and truly love each other. That love was real. It is real. And it will never leave them. Aidan also had a special bond with his uncles and grandfather — men who helped shape him, guide him, and love him like a son. Whether it was teaching him something, teasing him, or simply spending time with him, Aidan soaked it all in. He looked up to them. He listened to them — even if he didn’t always show it. They were his mentors, his role models, and his biggest supporters. And nowhere was that bond stronger than at deer camp. Deer camp is more than just a place to hunt — it is sacred ground. It is laughter around the fire. Quiet mornings in the woods. Lessons passed down. And memories made that will last a lifetime. Aidan loved being out there. He loved the peace, the tradition, and the time with his pap, uncles and cousins. It brought out a side of him that was calm, grounded, and connected — to nature, to family, and to something bigger than himself. He loved the outdoors. He loved the hunt. But more than that, he loved the time spent together — the stories, the joking around, the shared meals, the feeling of belonging. Those moments shaped who he was. And those memories will live on in the woods, in the trees, in the silence of the morning air at deer camp — where he will always be with them. But beneath all the jokes and wild ideas was a young man with a heart that loved fiercely. Aidan cared deeply for those around him. He didn’t always say it out loud, but he showed it — in the way he stood by you, the way he listened, the way he made you feel like you mattered. His love for speed and chasing the next adrenaline rush unfortunately filled him with excitement, gave him a high— the road, the freedom, the wind in his face — it reflected the way he lived: free, unfiltered, unafraid. And while it breaks our hearts that this part of his life brought us to this loss, we will not let that moment define him. Because Aidan was so much more than how he left us. He is all the ways he lived. He lived with laughter. He lived with loyalty. He lived with heart. He lived with a sense of wild freedom — and a deep, grounding love for his family and friends. We’ll remember him in every joke that makes us laugh too hard… In every spontaneous decision that turns into a story… In every family gathering where his presence is still felt… In the woods during hunting season, around the campfire, in the stories that come alive at deer camp… as I’ve been told by my own son who is just a yr older than Aidan, “mom what happens at deer camp, stays at deer camp” only those special enough to have been present will really know what happens in those woods lol And in every moment we feel his spirit with us — just beyond the noise, just beyond the wind, but especially in those quiet moments. ⸻ Fly free, Aidan. You were — and always will be — loved beyond measure, missed beyond words, and remembered with full hearts. ⸻ And from all of us, your family: “We will carry you with us always — in every laugh, every family gathering, every hunt, and I’m sure for his pap, uncles, and cousins every memory around the fire. Thank you for being ours, even just for a little while. You were a gift. You are our heart. You will be forever loved and remembered. Rest easy, Aidan.
