Austin Berg

1998 – 2021

Let the memory of Austin be with us forever.

Austin Joseph Berg On November 16th, 2021, Austin Joseph Berg passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident in Cameron, Texas on his way home from work. Austin was born in Riverside, California on June 10th 1998, making him the first born son of Jeffrey and Carrie Berg, raised in Norco, California and then moved to Salado, Texas with his parents and 2 younger brothers, Noah and Jacob. Austin was that kid that lit up every room he walked in, he had such a gift of connecting to anyone, anywhere, at any time. He pushed every boundary every step of the way, but lived his life to the fullest. He had several mottos that he lived by but the most memorable are: “live every day like you’re dying” and “you only live once”. If there was something Austin wanted to do, he did it and would always say he didn’t want to be scared to live. This loss has rocked our family to its core and brought us to our knees. Austin was baptized Christian and we know he is with our Lord and watching over his children and family.

Austin, Though I never got the chance to meet you, your spirit has certainly made its way into my heart through the wonderful stories your mom shares. She’s become one of my best friends and through her I feel like I’ve gotten to know A bit of your amazing personally. From what I hear, you were the kind of person who could light up a room with your smile and make everyone laugh with your quick wit. Your adventurous spirit and zest for life were truly contagious. Even though you left us too soon the joy and laughter you brought into the world continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew you. Your mom often talks about your funny antics and the way you always found a way to make even the tallest moments exciting. It’s clear that you live life to the fullest and left behind a treasure trove of happy memories. I can’t help but feel that if we met, I Would have loved you. Rest easy, knowing that your legacy of joy and laughter lives on. You are missed, but your spirit continues to bring smiles to our faces. Until we meet..I will expect you to be there waiting at the gates!
