Let the memory of Bruce be with us forever.
Minister, businessman, and self-proclaimed weatherman Bruce Allen Foster, age 60, passed peacefully into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 17, 2023. As a lifetime resident of Salem County, NJ, Bruce was able to excel as a Boy Scout with Troop 38, under Scout Leader Jack Dwyer. He was a member of the Woodstown High School FFA, becoming treasurer in his senior year, 1980. He was a graduate of the Cittone Institute for computer programming and worked for the Christiana School System. He worked at the family business, Foster Tire, before owning and operating his own business, Mannington Tire and Auto for many years. Bruce devoted his life to Christ and serving the church. He played the trumpet for thirteen years at the Christian Life Church, was a youth group leader at Harvest Time Worship Center, led two youth teams to Mexico on mission trips, one of them during a hurricane, and was part of the worship team and board at Ewin Methodist and Serving the Light Ministries. Bruce was ordained as a minister and co-pastored with his wife at Kingdom Living Ministries for over fifteen years. He was a member of the Mannington Fire Company, Salem County CERT Team, and was a Ham Radio operator. Bruce was a country boy at heart and enjoyed watching his weather station daily. He loved trap- shooting, reloading, and was a NRA pistol instructor. He previously held the office of President of the Quinton Sportsman Club, and was an active member of the Salem County Sportsman Club. As an outdoorsman, he loved camping, kayaking, and vacationing in OC, Maryland with his family. Bruce could always be seen walking his dogs daily, and everyone knew their names. Bruce is preceded in death by his mother Janet E. (Price) Foster and sister Diane Foster. He is survived by his best friend and wife Terri Lynn (Stanton) Foster, his three children, Joshua A. and his wife Dr. Kelsey (Adams) Foster, Jessica A. Foster and Lindsey R. Foster; grandson, William Lewis Foster; his father Warren B. Foster, Jr. and Susan Ferguson; his sister, Susan (Foster) Sickler and her husband Jeffrey; brother, Steven “Rerun” Foster, and countless family members, and his beloved four legged friend Diesel, aka: Didler Foster.
