Let the memory of Carole be with us forever.
Carole Ruth Geller, born on February 4th, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York, unfortunately passed away on Thursday August 27th, 2026 at the age of 79. She was a mother, a grandmother, and a woman who embraced life with genuine enthusiasm.
Carole was raised in Brooklyn by her parents, Annette and Charles. She grew up with her brother Edward, who has since passed away. Carole built her career as a hairdresser, bringing her skill and care to the people who sat in her chair over the years. In 1976, she married Lenny, and together they welcomed two daughters. In 1998, she retired to Henderson, Nevada, with her then husband Mario, settling into a life she clearly loved.
In Henderson, Carole found her community. She was a regular at the clubhouse at Sun City MacDonald Ranch and an active member of her clubs at Congregation Ner Tamid, where she found connection and belonging. Her days were filled with the things that brought her the most joy: dancing, traveling to new places, and crocheting. That last passion produced countless handmade treasures, each one a small expression of her love for the people in her life.
Carole is survived by her daughters, Shari Otis and Erica Lippin; her son-in-law, Barry Otis; her six grandchildren, Charles, Gabrielle, Abigail, Jordyn, Jaymie, and Jaslynn; and her great-granddaughter, Bee. She leaves behind a family shaped by memories and a community that was better for knowing her. Carole will be greatly missed.

Mom - In the end “I’m the mother, your the child.”, is how I felt although ironically you had reminded me of that for over 4 decade. But I’m glad we had our final Birthday, and Chagim together. So until we meet again - “Take care”, because after all “I’m here & you’re there.”
