Charlotte Forbes

Charlotte Mae Forbes, 78, of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Floyd Forbes; together they shared 64 years of marriage.

Born May 25, 1946 in Silver Run, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Bowers) Stonesifer.

Charlotte was a successful Realtor for 35+ Years and recently worked for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Homesale Realty. She loved her family and spending time traveling to her favorite vacation destinations.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tony Forbes and wife Bonnie, Hanover, Tim Forbes, Hanover and Michelle Gladhill and husband Troy, Murrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Amanda Reiblich and husband Michael, Glenville, Ty Gladhill, Murrells Inlet, SC and Allison Forbes, Hanover; great granddaughter, McKinsley Reiblich, Glenville and sisters, Janet Miller and husband Dave, Westminster, MD and Carla Jean Scott, Hanover.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Miller and brothers, Larry, Richard, Glenn and Jim Stonesifer.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1 PM at Little’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown with Pastor Doug Mummert officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 11AM until the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Forbes, Tim Forbes, Ty Gladhill, Troy Gladhill, Mike Forbes and Jason Stonesifer.
