All our love
The family and I are so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers.
Let the memory of David be with us forever.
David Bliss was born in 1942 and lived a full life of 84 years, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, generosity, and devotion to his family. He passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday October 11th 2026.
David was, at his core, a family man. He cherished his children and grandchildren deeply, and those who knew him well understood that his family was the center of his world. He was the kind of grandfather whose presence filled a room with warmth, and whose care for the people around him never wavered, even as his own health declined. Those who needed a helping hand knew they could turn to David, and he never turned anyone away.
What made David truly remarkable was his willingness to give of himself without hesitation. Even when life became harder for him personally, his first instinct was still to show up for others. That quiet, steady generosity was simply who he was.
David is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, his children Robert, John, and Emilia, and many grandchildren who will carry his memory forward in the ways they love and care for one another.
He is gone from our sight, but the kindness he scattered so freely throughout his life continues to live in every person he touched. His family takes comfort in knowing that he soars now, carried gently on the wings of a dove.
David did not believe in Funerals so we will be holding a celebration of life at his home Sunday October 25th at 10 am. Please reach out for the address.
A gesture of sympathy in their memory.
