In thought, in spirit, in the way he saw the world not just as it was, but as it could be. He was resilient - in a way that only someone familiar with pain can be. Dave may be gone from this world, but his spirit lingers - in the echoes of laughter, the lightness of memories and the impacts and goodness that he left behind in each of us.
