He was the Dad Joke King, a master of puns, and the life of the party in the very best way. Known to some as his alter ego “Scooter,” he had a great heart and an even greater ability to make people laugh. He didn’t just say “I love you”—he showed it, whether through random, over-the-top bouquets of roses or slipping away from work just to pump gas because he knew she hated it. A true protector, devoted husband, proud Daddy, and the very best Papa. He loved the outdoors, softball, grilling like a pro, fishing with Aaric, and taking his family out on the boat. Born and raised in Troy, he was a true Texas legend—deeply loved, endlessly missed, and forever unforgettable.
