Obituary

Born November 6th, 1944 in Philadelphia, Mississippi Jimmy eventually landed in Anderson, Indiana where he met the love of his life, Linda.

Jimmy and Linda married on March 7th, 1964 soon starting their own family, they had five children, Jimmy, Jamie, Chirita, Michael and Kara. Many grandchildren, James, Jesse, Justin, Hannah, Evan, John, Myrah, Zarin and Alina; and great-grandsons Sawyer, Caspian, Xavier & great-granddaughter Mercie.

Jimmy worked in skilled trades/maintenance for Container Corporation of America in Anderson, Indiana, he loved and rode motorcycles in his early years, enjoyed keying up on the radio aka “Warrior”, loved his guns, tinkering around in his garage and loved his family.

He was an amazing father, one who taught the importance of keeping your word, the importance of hard work and grit, the importance of always remaining simple, to mind your own business and had the if you don’t start nothing there won’t be nothing mentality.

On August 25th, 2023 at 10:10 pm we lost this treasure peacefully in his home surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

“I’m proud and thankful to have had you as my dad, I will forever cherish the time we spent together, especially after we lost momma, I was blessed to be raised, guided, corrected and loved by you both. I miss you pop and love you so much” ~ Chirita
