Obituary

John, or Johnny as he was known to his parents and sister, was a truly kind-hearted soul. His epitaph reads “his greatest joy was in making others happy.” This was him to a fault. He was utterly selfless and gave himself completely to his family and friends. He would do anything for a stranger, too.

Nicknamed “Psycho Boy” at his work as a diemaker at the Twinsburg stamping plant, he always tried to get everyone to laugh with his dry humor or through physical gags. He once ran outside during a thunderstorm with a metal pole, telling his coworkers it’ll be okay because you don’t get brain damage until the fifth time you get struck by lightning!

He raised his daughter alone after losing the love of his life in 1994. He also raised his stepson with as much love as he had for his own child.

His faith in God was unwavering. He didn’t go to church, but studied the Bible. His personal Book has many handwritten notes. He is certainly with God as his heart was as pure as they come.

Not a day goes by that you aren’t missed, Daddy.
