Lee was born July 10th, 1937 to George and Gertrude (Keup) Brownlow. Raised on the family farm in Mt. Morris, Wi, Lee was destined for a love of tractors, animals and the land. Attending high school at Wild Rose high, he graduated in 1954. Lee joined the Army in and served . After returning home, he began to take over managment of the farm, In he met his future wife, Barbara at and after a short courtship, they were married at the Mt. Morris Luthern Church in In 1958, their first child, Julie was born. Followed by their son, David, in 1960, and their second daughter, Marcie, in 1962. Over the years he served on many commitees in his community, including the board at Tomorrow Valley Coop and the board of Howes Corners Cemetery, and had been a faithful member of his church, Mt Morris Luthern. Lee first became a Grandfather in 1986 and ultimately having 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Retired in 2000 and sold the farm to his son, David. In retirement, Lee and Barb enjoyed many years of travel, visiting places like Germany, Alaska, Hawaiii and annual trips to Texas and Arizona. Tractor shows. Everyone who knew Lee remembers him for his fun loving spirit, hard work ethic and a silent laughter that would often ended in tears rolling down his cheeks.
