Let the memory of Margaret be with us forever.
Peggy, along with her husband Jack were devout and life-long practicing Catholics. They served God by serving others. A balance of joy and discipline was reflected in Peggy’s patient care as a nurse, her teaching of others and her volunteer efforts. She enjoyed singing through much of her life and leading others in worship.
Peggy’s compassion comforted others in their own physical struggles and bereavement, walking the journey of life with those who suffered the loss of loved ones. She was a long-time distributor of the Holy Eucharist in liturgical celebrations and to the home-bound, feeding others physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Scripture was her constant companion, nourishing herself with the Gospel and passing it on to her family.
Even through her last years and final hours, she taught others how to marry pain and suffering to that of Christ’s on the cross and offering all of her suffering for the sake of the souls of “Others!”
